The engineer Thomas Obermayer had all reason to celebrate on the second stop of the Vertical Extreme 2006 with his second place in the category snowboard on Wendelstein, Brannenburg. He regularly trains in his favorite ski areas Steinplatte, Obertauern, Kitzsteinhorn and Hochfelln and has been competing in various freeride events such as the Nebelhorn Classics, the Radical Ride and the Fren’s Inferno since 2004. Sports is also his main concern in the summer with pretty much everything from triathlon to climbing and surfing, as long as it’s not ballet.  |
